1st International Conference on Sustainability Systems Development ICSSD2023

OVERVIEW:
ICSSD is an annual conference The ICSSD2023 is the first version of the annual International Conference on Sustainability Systems Development. The conference was organized by ACARES – Malaysia (https://www.acaress.org) and ORCA Institute – Indonesia (https://orcaindustriakademi.com) and took place in DIVAN Hotel – Erbil – Kurdistan – Iraq for the period 7-8 July 2023.
OPENING OF THE EVENT:
The conference opening took only 10 minutes including 5 minutes montage on the co-organizers, University of Technology, Karabuk University, and Almustaqbal university, followed by 5 minutes opening speech by the conference chairman. Then, the technical session proceeded over two days where 40 presenters shared their research findings through F2F presentations, and 10 online presentations. Two keynote speeches have been presented: one on day-1 and the second on day-2, both in the afternoon after the lunch session. There are remarkable interactions and fruitful discussions on the various topics presented in the conference. The conference rap up and the closing ceremony included the chairman welfare and congratulations for the successful event.
PUBLICATIONS:
After two weeks, the communication started with the authors to develop the selected papers for publications, where 31 research papers have been submitted to JESTEC, which is Scopus indexed and Clarivate covered, and 10 review and outlook papers have been converted to chapters and submitted to NOVA Scientific Publisher to be published in the Advancements in the Sustainability Systems.
It is without argument that the event represents a remarkable successful meeting for gathering researchers from various countries to share their research findings, and to have the opportunity to meet and discuss experts in their research fields.
The second version, 2nd International Conference on Sustainability Systems Development, ICSSD2024, will take place in Bristoria hotel, Erbil – Kurdistan – Iraq, on 7-8 July 2024.
